The New Toy!

I told yall I would put up pictures of the new toy and here we go!

Here it is by itself before we got it really dirty!! Our friend Kelly named her Cambry the Camo!

This one is after playing in the mud as you can tell by me all dirty!! We had so much fun with it!! I was amazed at what it can do!!!

Here is one of driving through the pond and getting really wet, but we went back for more!!!! We are going to a place our friends have told us about where it all four wheelers and you play in the mud all weekend. We are going the first weekend in June, so I will upload those later. HELLO ALL!!

Well a lot has been going on lately!! The wedding is 7 months away...WOW Everyone said that it would go by fast. It seems like we just engaged and that was 7 months ago so I am sure these next 7 months will fly by as well. We took our engagement pictures in Herrman Park a few weeks back and here are some of them for everyone to see!











I made Save the Date magnets so everyone will remember to make arrangements. They are super cute and will be mailed out next week. Other than that I got my dress last weekend with my mom. It is very pretty and I cant wait to wear it!! =) I still need to find a photographer, DJ, Florist, and Minister. I keep telling myself I have 7 months but it is a lot to do. I have found someone for all of these, just need to book them and put down deposits.

In other news, we had a house warming party with a bunch of our friends and had a great time!!! We showed off the house to everyone and had burgers, hot dogs, and beer. So many people showed up and we are very thankful for everyone who cares about us. We got a few bottles of wine, a gift card to Bed Bath and Beyond(which is spent already of course but I got some cute stuff), and some money. It was a great time!!!

Od's parents have been to the house a couple times to see it and hang out with us. They loved it of course and now are building a house at the ranch!! WOO HOO Although I will always love the little "Mogan Mansion" My parents came up this weekend to see it with my brothers. They all said they loved it and we had a good time.

My dad will be up in a couple weeks for Travis' graduation. I cant believe my little brother is graduating already....I am getting old!

We bought a new toy for the ranch!!!! Its a 2008 Kawasaki Teryx 4x4 750 LE. I think i got that right heck I dont know but its really fun. OD just left back to work with it on the trailer on the back of his truck, so we can head to the ranch after he gets off. Here is a picture of it



I will hopefully put some more pictures up after we go this weekend to play with it in the country!!!

I finished this semester finally and did pretty well. I am thankful to be done, for a while at least. I will be taking a couple summer school classes and I applied for a couple jobs. Now just waiting to hear back from people. OD is back at the job right by the house so that has been good for him. They are behind on the job so he has been working long hours lately. We have a lot going on lately but it had been tons of fun.Were going to College Station next weekend because our best friends little boy is turning 3! I can not believe it!!! Then the weekend after that will be Travis's graduation in Corpus. A couple weeks after that my brothers and I will be in Arkansas for a party for Trav. It will be fun to see everyone from up north. OD will not be going he has a company fishing trip he was chosen to go on. He is on a boat with some people pretty high up there in the company, so it will be a good oppurtunity for him.

Whats going on...

Well Od worked about 10 minutes from the new house for about a week, then they moved him about 45 minutes away from the house. He hates it up there but it is only for a few months. They have him calling people all day instead of working in the field. He is always bored there, so we email a lot during the day HA HA.

I am working on school stuff all day everyday lately. Its coming to the end of the semester so everything is piling up on me. I am going to try and find a job this summer to help out with some bills and wedding stuff. So I will keep you updated on all that.

The house is coming along. We have almost all of the downstairs furniture in. We still need to get new furniture for the bedrooms up stairs. We only have one bed for right now. Who would have thought...buy a four bedroom house and only have one bed HA HA. We still have A LOT of decorating to do. I have no idea what to do with the 2 story living room walls. THEY'RE HUGE!! Were having a housewarming party on the 25th so maybe we will get some cute stuff for the house and I can give the tour a million times. Od makes me give the tour because he says I am better at it. I know he just does not want to though... Oh well I really am better at it!

We had a fun weekend last weekend Od's dad came up on Friday night and we BBQ'd and drank beer like we always do with his parents. =) Kelly and Daniel came over and we met the neighbors that night too. Well needless to say we stayed up to late. The three of us (OD, his dad, and I) went to the NHRA races in Baytown the next day and had so much fun. Then we picked up his mom at the airport and came and showed off the house ( I did of course) and then made some BBQ. I told you we always BBQ with them. We also had soem birthday cake because it was OD's dads birthday this past Monday. I wont tell you his age (but he will 50 next year). So we ate and played some games with them and then went to Kelly and Daniels and stayed up way to late again!!

The next morning our best friends Amanda and Marcus came over and actully this time OD gave Marcus the tour and I gave it to Amanda. We hung out for a little while and then they had to leave as well as Od's parents. Od's mom blessed our house before she left as well, so hopefully we will have many wonderful memories here now!!

We went to Wills house that day for BBQ, man I did not realize until now we had BBQ everyday that weekend. WE saw his new baby William JR and their little girl Laci. She is so big now and so talkative. They live in the middle of nowhere so it was fun out there fishing and cooking.

Well that was about it for our eventful weekend!!!

Wedding Info

Okay for everyone who does not know the wedding day is January 2nd, 2010!!!

We will be having a New Years Eve party on the 31st for anyone who can come in early and join us. It will be at our house in Rosharon about 30 minutes from the wedding. The next day will be the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. The rehearsal will of course be at the venue, and following that will be the rehearsal dinner at our house again.

We will be reserving some rooms close to our house, some close to the wedding, and some in the middle depending on where will want to stay. You will get more of that info later on.

We hope everyone can come and join us for the few days of fun and celebration!

We are getting married at Safari Texas Ranch in Richmond, TX which is close to Houston.

Our New Home

Well we finally did it! We bought our first house. It was very stressful and nerve racking for sure!!! After looking for months we found the perfect one. Its in Rosharon, outside of Houston. Its kind of in the middle of nowhere; which we love. We have only been here a little less than a month, but absolutlely love it.

It is bigger than we imagined but we decided it was better to get a house too big than too small. Its 2800 square feet with four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and a game room. It has a decent sized yard for a subdivision.

We are slowly decorating it..... Still need some beds for up stairs but it feels like home for sure!!

I will add some more pictures once I get them onto the computer.

Wedding Party

Well I have been doing some of the planning for the weddding, but still have a long way to go! I have chosen all of the attendants for the wedding and OD still has one more to choose.

I will be having 2 maid of honors Amanda and Kim


This is Amanda and I. We have been Best Friends for about 4 years now and she recently moved to Corpus. Why she could not have lived there the 12 years I did, who knows... She is married to Od's best friend his best man and also they have a little boy Landen who is one of the Ring boys. Expensive wedding for them too..HA HA


This is Kim and I. We have been best friends since 7th grade and I love her to death. She is also married and has the cutest little girl Maddie, who is one of the flower girls as well.

Next is my sister Nicole. Its tough because she lives so far away but we get to see eachother at leat twice a year =) She also has two adorable kids who will be the second ring bearer and the second flower girl.( I will show them off later)



Amber is the next bridesmaid and I met her when I worked at HEB and we became very close very fast. She is getting married in July and I am her maid of honor =) Cant wait!!! She is going to make a beautiful bride.



Next is my friend Jennie who I have knows almost 4 years as well. I worked with her at the day care and have been friends with her ever since. She just moved back to Houston so I am glad to be close to her again.



The last but certainly not least bridesmaid is Kat. I have known her since working at HEB as well. She is my little Martha Stewart and so glad to have during this wedding process.

Holy Cow that took me a LONG time. I will update when we get the last groomsman chosen.

What we have been up to.....

OD graduated in May 2008 from Texas A&M University. Gig'em Aggies!

He earned his degree in Construction Science and is now a general contractor for Satterfield & Pontikes. He loves his job, but has had his ups and downs. After Hurricane Ike, his job sent him to Galveston and he had to work on repairing the schools down there. It was a bad time for us because he was gone all day long, come home and eat dinner, and then go to bed. He had to work seven days a week for a few weeks until the schools were ready to go again. He has recently been on a project building a new Highschool in Pearland, TX.

As for me, I am STILL in school. Dad calls me a career student and I feel that way most times. I have transferred a few times so it has put me back a little. I have recently transferred to University of Houston after OD got his job. I am earning my degree in elementary education and have always thought I wanted to teacher the older ones like 4th or 5th grade. I think I have recently changed my mind to the little ones like kinder or 1st. I will finally be done December 2010 after seven years......

Our dog Lucky is loving the new house and he is 4 1/2 now and still as spoiled as ever...
